New Goals

My life needs more organization. I need to establish myself as a person, as an artist. I have a lot of work to do, I realize this. Getting there is the complicated part. There’s sooo much on my mind lately, but I need to do my school work…

- Read craft history handouts

- Find more stones for metals class and work in some studio time

- Finish felting project for non-loom, I CAN’T BELIEVE BARBRA IS RETIRING!

- Rough drawing of my calligraph for next class

- Read next portion of Spellman Files (which is a fantastic book, so far anyway, and I highly recommend it if anyone’s looking for a good read.)

Day 06 - A picture of a person you’d love to trade places with for a day.

I’d love to trade places with Baelyn Neff. She’s so cute, not to mention she’s dating Brandon Boyd.

Day 05 - A picture of a favorite memory.

When my boyfriend and I first started dating, he used to drive up to Kutztown to pick me up for the weekends. This one Friday, he brought me the most beautiful roses for absolutely no reason at all. He’s the best :)

Day 04 - A picture of your night.

For yesterday, I spent the night in the studio finishing this. Brass and copper bag closure.

Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show.

He’s not the only one in the cast, but I enjoyed the photo. Supernatural is pretty decent, wouldn’t say it’s my absolute favorite, but the only TV show I’ve stuck with for a while. I used to watch it when it first came out and my boyfriend got me hooked. We watch it together, for the most part.

I have so much work to do!

This week is incredibly bittersweet.

Tomorrow is the Baltimore Craft Show, which I’ve been DYING to go to. Hahah, it was as though I’ve been counting down the days. Don’t laugh at me, I’m generally excited. I also get to go again on Friday, no Non-loom cause Barbra’s going to Florida.

However, I have three projects due for the beginning of next week. As you know, I go home every weekend. I have to too, just because I work and all. Maybe I’ll end up going home Sunday night. I don’t know. I’m not very happy about it. If they all weren’t so labor intensive, I wouldn’t be so worried. I just have to be in the studio to get them done… unfortunately.

Well, you have to have some bad to go along with the good. It’ll be a learning experience alright. Wish me luck.
